Three styles of bath house, each for a unique and special experience.
Japanese-style Bath
Built like a classic Japanese tea room, this bath house is furnished with a 4.5 tatami floor for resting, a tokonoma (traditional-style alcove), a chabudai (tea table), and zabuton (Japanese cushions).
The authentic Japanese-style, open-air bath overlooks a stone garden and the nearby forest; a popular choice among our overseas guests.
The Tsugaike Highlands, Mout Norikura-dake, and Mount Korengesan are all visible when soaking in this hot spring.
Additionally, there are no elevation differences among the entrance, dressing room, tatami area, and bathing area; and the bath is equipped with handrails, making this private bath an accessible space for all.

Thermae Romae
Inspired by Grecian temples, this Roman-style spa is bordered by pillars made of wood thinned from the forest for its health.
The Tsugaike Highlands, Mout Norikura-dake, and Mount Korengesan are all visible when soaking in this hot spring. The snow viewing in winter is particularly lovely.

Goemon Bath
A goemon-buro (goemon bath) is a very traditional Japanese bathtub, heated directly by a kamado (wood stove) from below. Guests sit on a floating wooden board in the cauldron bath on top. It is said to be the origin of modern bath boilers and is still popular even today.
Goemon baths have the property of gently transferring heat, so they boast excellent heat retention and are also said to make the water gentle.

Reservations
Reservations are required for private bath use. Guests who wish to use a private bath can make a reservation at the front desk after checking in.
- * Only guests currently staying at the hotel can use the private baths.
- * We do not accept advance reservations via phone or email.
Old house onsen
Drawn from our own abundant hot spring source, Hakuba Mizubasho Onsen, "Kominka no Yu" ("hot spring from (an) old Japanese folk house") features large, gender-separated indoor baths, an open-air cypress bath, and an open-air rock bath.
